WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL)-- A team of assessors from the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation are heading to Wakulla County to examine the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office Policy and Procedures.
The team will arrive July 29 to look at management, operations and support systems. The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office has to comply with about 260 standards in order to receive accredited status. CFA says many of the standards are critical to life, health and safety issues.
As part of the on-site assessment, agency members and the general public are invited to offer comments to the assessment team. You can do so by writing to CFA, P.O. Box 1489, Tallahassee, Florida 32302, or emailing info@flaccreditation.org.
