TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A woman has been arrested after a 1-year-old baby was found abandoned at an apartment complex on Tallahassee's Southside.
The Tallahassee Police Department confirmed that a 1-year-old child was found abandoned at the Lakes at San Marcos on Woodville Highway on Tuesday morning.
A woman, Natasha Fry, has been arrested in the case, though its unclear if the woman is the child's mother.
Fry has been charged with child neglect, marijuana possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police say the investigation is ongoing. They are expected to release a full report Wednesday.
Fry is to have a first court appearance at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
