TIFTON, Ga. (WTXL) - For the first time in it's schools history, ABAC is receiving the National Fundraising Award.
Every year since 1959 the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, recognizes 90 colleges and universities around the nation.
ABAC was chosen based on the judges' analysis of the three years of fundraising data submitted to the annual Voluntary Support of Education Survey.
Chief Operating Officer of the ABAC Foundation, Jodie Snow, says this will show donors the opportunities that ABAC offers their students.
"Well I hope that donors and alumni will recognize that we are taking their dollars and we are awarding scholarships, we are purchasing property, supporting the college," said Snow.
ABAC will be recognized at the CASE conference in February of 2019.
