ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - AAA is giving its coveted five-diamond designation to three Florida restaurants.
The travel service group awarded the five-diamond designation on Friday to Palme d'Or at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables; Salt at the Ritz-Carlton in Amelia Island; and Victoria & Albert's at Walt Disney World.
AAA inspectors who went to the restaurants unannounced wrote evaluations, and the final decision was made by a panel of experts. The experts evaluated food quality, customer service and the restaurant's physical environment.
Nationwide, only 64 restaurants were given the five-diamond designation by AAA this year.
