SUWANNEE COUNTY (WTXL) - A pedestrian is in serious condition after being hit with a car in Suwannee County.
Six people were walking on the west shoulder of 165th road, waiting for traffic to clear when they attempted to run across entering the path of a Chrysler Sebring. The driver tried to avoid the pedestrians by slamming on the brakes and pulling the wheel to the left, but two people were still hit.
A female was taken to Shands UF Hospital after she was struck by the front of the car and hit the windshield. Another pedestrian's foot was ran over.
