Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee woman will serve the next 18 months behind bars, after a car crash back in 2014.
Nekeisha Banks plead no contest in court on Wednesday.
Banks was traveling from Pensacola to Tampa, when Florida Highway Patrol tried to pull her over for speeding.
Troopers say she sped off, reaching speeds of 102-miles per hour before going airborne and flipping her car.
The impact threw one of the children traveling with Banks, from the vehicle.
The child later died.
As part of her plea agreement Banks will also spend four years on probation following her release from prison.
