JACKSON COUNTY, FL. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man is dead after a crash on County Road 162 and White Pond Road in Jackson County.
The Florida Highway Patrol says, the accident happened just after 1:00PM on Monday. According to FHP 55 year old Gary Murphy was driving west on CR-162 when he lost control of his vehicle, crossing into on coming traffic. Murphy's 1995 Chevy Lumina hit an embankment, flipped over, and caught fire. He was the only person injured in the crash, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
