TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (WTXL) - A business which has only been around for four years is striking a chord in the guitar production industry.
Folkstone Guitars is a well known as a quality guitar builder, modifier, and repairer in Tallahassee.
Customers say Gary Hudson builds, repairs, and custom designs the best guitars in our area, but Gary says he gets business from across the country.
Hudson started up Gary Hudson Music Inc. in 2011, and he says he's worked on over 200 guitars since then.
Gary also has has a partner, Scott Young, who joined the business about a year ago. Hudson and his partner have created several custom guitars including a Beatles inspired guitar, as well as a FSU electric guitar.
Hudson says he just hopes he can bring joy to his customers, "This life has got enough anxiety and problems with all that we have to go through, we deserve a little bit of merriment...and that's what a guitar brings to us."
