Gov. Kemp: 67-year-old is Georgia's first coronavirus death

ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has announced that a 67-year-old man is the state's first death from coronavirus.

Kemp said Thursday that the man tested positive for the virus March 7 and was hospitalized at WellStar Kennestone.

Kemp said the man had “underlying medical conditions."
