VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) -- A man has pleaded guilty to making up statements about who killed Kendrick Johnson.
Dalton Chauncey was accused of telling investigators that he heard two people admit to causing Johnson's death. Investigators were never able to verify his statement and say that Chauncey later admitted to making the whole thing up.
Chauncey pleaded guilty to the charges and will be sentenced in a Lowndes County court on June 18th.
