Stores across the country are changing their shopping hours amid the coronavirus pandemic, with many designating shopping time for only seniors and vulnerable guests, like those with underlying health conditions.
Target
Target is designating the first hour of shopping every Wednesday to support vulnerable guests, including the elderly and those with underlying health concerns.
Publix
Publix is designating 7 - 8 a.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday for seniors, 65 and older, to shop.
Walmart
Walmart will open for one hour every Tuesday (6 a.m. for most locations) for seniors only.
Winn-Dixie, BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket
Southeastern Grocers says from 8 - 9 a.m., Monday through Friday only seniors and high-risk customers can shop. This applies to all SEG stores.
Dollar General
Dollar General is dedicating the first shopping hour to senior customers.
Whole Foods
Whole Foods will allow customers 60 and older to shop for one hour before the store opens to the general public under the new adjusted hours posted on the store’s website.
