TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--Statistics show that students who seek out the mentoring of others actually land more job opportunities. Grady Enlow from Thomas University actually conducted a study and stopped by Sunrise to break it all down

Enlow says student leadership development is more than just training current student leaders:

· All students have the potential to be leaders at some level.

· Leadership is not just about nature; it's also about nurture.

· Mentor relationships are important, especially when the mentor and the mentee are not of the same race or gender.

· Developing leadership potential is just as important for university students as other extracurricular opportunities.

· Employers are hiring people who understand more than just the areas of their majors; employers also want people who can be potential leaders.
