Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL)--If you've ever had to go to the hospital or doctor for an X-ray, chances are you've met a Radiologic Technologist.
Nakesha Houston from Capital Regional Medical Center stopped by this morning to show us how you can get a career started in the medical field as an Radiologic Technologist.
Houston got her start after meeting a Radiologic Technologist at an outpatient VA clinic shortly after being discharged from the military. Houston says TCC has an awesome program in the field that allows students to receive hands on experience alongside seasoned techs.
"X-rays play an important role in the diagnostic process for doctors and allows them to better understand the pain or problem so good techs must be humble and understanding as well", says Houston
