Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL)-- The road to becoming a licensed architect can be a long and winding one. But the rewards of seeing your work on a larger than life scale can make the years of schooling and labor worth while.

Architects Pat Hoy and Monty Stark of Hoy + Stark architects joined us on WTXL Sunrise to for some advice on how to make it as an architect. Click the thumbnail to see the interview and hear some of their tips of the trade.

Three building in the Capital City are nominated, including Killearn Lakes Elementary, which was designed by Hoy and Stark.
