TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Girl Scout's are getting ready to start handing out cookies but two scouts took some time to show us how to turn their cookies into something even more delicious.

Ashley and Christina are Senior Girl Scouts with Troop 1299 and are making a "Girl Scout Cookie Pizza". This recipe is from "A Collection of Recipes by Girl Scouts and Friends" and was originally submitted by the Girl Scouts CEO, Raslean Allen.

Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

1 (16.5-oz.) tube refrigerated sugar cookie dough, or your favorite sugar cookie recipe

Assorted Girl Scout cookies of your choice

1 (12-oz.) pkg semisweet chocolate chips

1 T. creamy peanut butter

1 (8-oz.) block cream cheese, room temp.

Assorted colorful candies (such as M&M's)

1/2 c. melted white chocolate coconut shavings or mini marshmallows for garnish

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Press the prepared sugar cookie dough (store bought or homemade) onto an ungreased 14-inch pizza pan. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown. While dough is baking, coarsely shop the cookies, approximately 3 to 4 cups. Remove pan from oven and cool on a wire rack. In a microwave bowl, melt the semisweet chocolate and peanut butter. Stir until smooth. Add cream cheese and mix until smooth. Spread chocolate mixture over crust. Top with chopped cookies. Add assorted candies for color. Melt white chocolate and drizzle over pizza or use coconut or mini marshmallows to garnish. Refrigerate, covered, until chocolate is set. Makes 20 servings, 1 (14inch) pizza.
