TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A new restaurant in Tallahassee is bringing some classic Irish food to the area right before St. Patrick's Day.
Eric Coleman and Salvador Rodriguez from Scratch Kitchen and Pub joined us on Sunrise's What's to Eat to show us how to make their version of Corned Beef and Cabbage.
Here is the recipe they made:
Ingredients:
5 oz corned beef
1/2 each red and green bell peppers
2oz green cabbage,shredded
4oz quarter red potatoes,roasted
1/4 white onion
2oz stock
2oz oil
Blanch 4oz red potatoes, cut in half then toss in butter with a pinch each of salt and pepper and roast at 400 for 15 minutes. Next heat 1oz of oil in saute pan and add corned beef to pan. Next add peppers, onion, potatoes and cabbage, then saute until veggies are tender. Finally deglaze the pan with 2 oz stock and add salt and pepper to taste.
