TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - An under-appreciated animal is getting all the attention at the Tallahassee Museum this weekend.

"Vulture Awareness Day" takes place Saturday, September 6 from 10:00am until 3:00pm. The Museum will have hands-on activities and engaging talks at the aviary throughout the day.

Some of the talks will focus on the great service to the ecosystem we are all apart of.

If you're already a member, admission is free and if you are not a member, there is no extra cost; just the price of admission.

If you'd like to learn more information about the museum you can call 850-575-8684 or visit www.TallahasseeMuseum.org.
