TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Normally when you take a book home from the library, if you forget to return it you'll probably be faced with a fine and the guilt of knowing you've deprived someone else the pleasure of a good story.

But an event this weekend is allowing you to purchase your next read for cheap and keep it as long as you like.

The "Title Wave Book Sale" is an event sponsored by the Friends of the Leon County to help raise money for the Leon County Public Library System.

VIDEO LEFT: Julie Lovelace, the President of Friends of the Library, joined us on Sunrise to talk about the event.

Participants can purchase new and used books in the basement/loading dock of the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library on West Park Avenue.

It begins on Friday, November 14 and runs until November 16. If you would like to find out more information you can call 850-915-1670 or visit LeonCountyFL.gov/Friends.
