SYDNEY, Australia - More potential trouble for Carnival Cruise Lines today as two passengers were declared missing when the Carnival Spirit docked in Australia.

Authorities have launched an air and marine search off Australia's east coast.

New South Wales police say surveillance camera footage showed that the couple -- a 30-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman whose names have not been released -- fell from the ship's mid deck Wednesday night.

Investigators are having the video enhanced, hoping it'll show whether they jumped or fell by accident.

The ship has around 600 surveillance cameras that are constantly monitored, although no one reported seeing the fall at the time.

Carnival Corp. has been plagued by a series of high-profile problems in recent years including fires and the grounding of the Costa Concordia off the coast of Italy that killed 32 people.
