TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- There's a cute new bb-8 like robot being tested to help kids with autism become more interactive. The robot, "Leka", has a face that changes expressions and uses sound, light and colors to interact through customizable games. Leka also supplies positive images and sounds, like laughter or smiley faces, to reward progress and encourage confidence. You can preorder it for just fewer than 400 bucks, and it'll ship in early 2017.

A 29 year old prisoner in Ireland ate something that's pretty uncommon, a cell phone. Doctors waited 18 hours to see if the phone would move from its location and it didn't. So they went ahead and made a surgical incision into the stomach to get it out. The man was released from the hospital after a week, and had no symptoms during his check up four months later.

We've all heard of fountain of youth creams on late night infomercials, but researchers at MIT actually created a second skin that can make you look younger, well for an entire day at least. It's a polymer film that's applied as two creams then sets as a second skin. It supports the underlying tissue and visibly looks like younger skin, due to particles in the second cream that diffuse light. It also protects skin from UV rays and helps treat skin conditions.
