TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- A fire in space is one of the worst things that can happen for an astronaut. But now, NASA scientists will purposely light a fire on a cargo capsule in order to monitor how fires spread in outer space. The international space station will receive supplies and then send the empty capsule back to space before the experiment takes place. The purpose is to use this data to make equipment more fire-resistant and have data to back up.

The tech company says it’s recovered more than a ton of gold from recycled I-phones in the past year.  They came from broken devices dropped off by owners. Each phone has a quarter of a milligrams worth of gold, worth about a buck. But that all adds up, a new report says they got back over 43 million dollars. Now, they can reuse the gold and reduce the amount they have to mine.

Back to the future fans will be excited for this; self-lacing sneakers are now a reality. When you step into the shoe, you hit a sensor and the system will automatically tighten. There are also 2 buttons on the side to tighten or loosen the shoe. Nike has announced these sneakers will be on sale later this year, but only to Nike plus members. The main goal is to help runners have a more comfortable experience, and relieve stress to the feet.
