TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Tallahassee Police Department kicks off it's cadet recruiting program Tuesday night.
Tallahassee Police Cadet Recruiting Night is for those interested in learning about law enforcement and assist the community.
Officer Evan Alwine visited Sunrise to talk about what participants will learn in the program.
Everything will be spelled out during recruitment night on Tuesday, August 23rd from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The cadet program for youth 14-21 interested in learning about law enforcement.
The program includes training, community service for parades, festivals and football games.
Participants will also compete in a week-long competition.
