TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Athletic League has three big events coming up, all with the purpose of raising money for the local youth.

TPAL is a local, non-profit juvenile prevention program, operated by the Tallahassee Police Department.  It's been in operation for over 100 years and is aged at children ages 7-17.

The program teams each young person up with a police officer and other caring individuals within the community.

On December 4th, TPAL will hold a reception starting at 11 a.m. in the Lincoln Neighborhood Center, located at 438 W. Brevard.

Then on December 6th, TPAL will participate in the annual Riley House Rock-a-thon.

Finally, on December 8th, the organization will hold Share Day.  Supporters can go out to both Red Elephant Pizza & Grill locations and donate to the organization.  Simply let a server know that the meal is part of the TPAL fundraiser and the restaurant will make a donation.
