TALLAHASSEE, FL - In today's Tech Smart we are taking a look at the Mini Maker Faire.
This is the second mini maker faire at Barnes & Noble in Tallahassee.
It's being held Saturday, November 5th & Sunday, November 8th from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m..
Both days are free, and open to the public.
The Mini Maker Faire breaks down the intimidation barrier when it comes to technology, innovation and creating, and this year we plan to take it to a whole new level of engagement as we reinforce our commitment to promoting tech literacy.
This is in partnership with Leon County Schools to raise money to fund maker spaces that will be available to all school libraries.
If participants mention any of the Leon County Schools at registers, a portion of their purchase will be donated to LCS for this purpose.
