TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Google is in the process of changing how they show websites in searches that may hurt your Google ranking if you website isn't user friendly.

Michael Winn, the Chief Digital Officer for Digital Opps, joined us on Sunrise to provide some tips on how you can make sure your website is digital friendly.

Here are a few tips from Winn. According to Winn, 90% of small business owners do not have a mobile friendly website and that 60% of adults use a mobile device to search the web.

1) Do a test: Use the "Google Mobile Friendly Tool" and put your web address to see what your website looks like.

2) Check your Data: Look at your website analytics to see how many mobile visitors your website is getting.

3) Visit Your Competition: Search for a similar competitor in your field on Google and evaluate where you rank compared to them and see if they are mobile friendly.

4) Do Something: Mobile-friendly web compliance now means business growth and benefits.
