TALLAHASSEE, FL - Classes and workplaces are increasing their use in Technology, especially online engagement.
More and more students are shifting the way they are taught at the Florida Virtual School.
For Tech Smart, Executive Director of Policy and Accountability for Florida Virtual School Holly Sagues talked about how online classes are critical for students.
Sagues said the lack of an online education experience places a student behind the curve.
She said 57.6% of all workforce training is delivered online or blended.
Public Universities have a good portion of online courses available.
In fact, 5.8 million students enrolled at least one online course in 2014.
Sagues said online courses help with time managment, sustaining effort and collaboration.
