Tallahassee structure wins architecture award

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Cascades Park has been open for several months now but aspects of the park are still turning heads all across the state.

Recently, the Smokey Hollow Commemoration in the park has won the AIA People's Choice Award architecture competition.

The competition was sponsored by the Florida Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

58 structures across the state were entered in the competition and over the course of a month, the Tallahassee structure received the most support.
