TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Pimp Lightning joined us this morning for another edition of Sunrise Rocks!
Tallahassee based Pimp Lightning consists of Derek Helms (drums, percussion, and vocals), Brian Hudnall (lead guitar and lead vocals), and Craig Gibbens (bass guitar and vocals).
The band started after a celebration of a competitive softball victory with a team called the Bad Seeds. They discovered that they all played music and started playing together for fun. Starting off with the name "B.C.D.," they eventually morphed into Pimp Lightning, and the band says that the rest is history.
