TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - All week on Sunrise and Midday WTXL is looking at summer camps in our community.
Camp Spark - Igniting Knowledge is hosting a wide variety of science camps all throughout the summer. The camps are hosted by MoLab, Inc. and run multiple weeks from June 1 to August 14.
Two of their camps are allowing kids to a green thumb.
The Farm Science Camp runs from July 13-17 and allows kids to learn all about raising food. Kids attending this camp will not only learn how to compost and make a mini-greenhouse but visit a real farm to see the science behind where food comes from.
The Farm to Plate road trip is also taking kids to the farm to learn about their food, this time to learn about sustainable food choices. This camp runs from July 13-17 and will teach kids about healthy foods.
These aren't the only camps offered by the MoLab, you can see a full list at www.tallymolab.org.
Keep watching Sunrise and Midday for more Summer Camp Sampler as the week continues.
