TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Senior Center is providing health and community resources geared to Tallahassee's expanding senior population in an event this week.
The 2014 "Active Living Expo" is featuring over 75 exhibits all related to senior health. The event begins Thursday, September 11, and runs until Friday, September 12.
In addition to the variety of exhibits, keynote speaker Dr. Bill Thomas will be talking about how midlife adults can make exploration and growth part of their lifelong journey.
Seniors can also get flu shots at the event and a variety of other health screenings.
The event begins at 5pm on Thursday night at the Tallahassee Senior Center on North Monroe Street.
