(WTXL) — TLR will be hosting their 10th Anniversary the weekend of August 23rd - 24th, in association with the American Heart Association in benefiting one of their members, Melton Sterling Hedley.
Mr. Hedley and his family are battling medical complications that require continual assistance and priority status on the ORPN transplant database (Organ Replacement and Procurement Network).
As a former Quincy Police Officer, Mr. Hedley has given much to the community by way of service and commitment, and TLR is committed to returning as much of that spirit and heart as possible.
Top of the Line Ryderz, MC was established in August 2009 as a non-profit organization to promote the philosophy and safe practice of group riding and conduct in such a way that enhances the image of motorcycle riding and encourages others to participate in the sport. Top of the Line Ryderz, MC endorses and promotes a common bond of friendship and respect through club functions within our community (i.e. fundraisers, community service, group travel).
Such events also allow TLR to establish and build upon a rapport with the members of the community and with the businesses, both local and national, that help the community to flourish.
While supportive throughout the year, TLR’s Annual Weekend allows for the organization to highlight a particular local or national charity by gathering other clubs and sponsor. Wounded Warrior, Alzheimer’s Project, Refuge House are several organizations that have benefited, and many more will follow.
