TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Big Bend Hospice is offering free help for young people dealing with losing someone.

This Monday morning Caitlin Burns, a youth bereavement counselor, came by to discuss their free monthly events that create a safe place for youth to learn about grief.

At the sessions youth can share their stories and see first-hand that they are not alone.

The Monthly Children and Teen Nights support any youth in the Big Bend region who has experienced the death of someone they care about.

There are free monthly events for different age groups. Most groups meet from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. The location is Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd.
