MIDWAY, FL - "Come with me, and you'll be, in a world of pure imagination," sung by the late Gene Wilder in the beloved film, "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."
The world of comedy has lost legendary actor Gene Wilder.
He died Monday in his Connecticut home, according to a statement from his nephew.
He was 83.
Wilder's nephew said he died of complications from Alzheimer's disease.
The two-time Oscar nominee was perhaps best known for playing a magical factory owner in "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."
He also starred in "Blazing Saddles," and "Young Frankenstein," directed by Mel Brooks.
