TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Isa Colli, the director of The Power of We at Florida State University, told Second Cup about their upcoming event on campus, The Longest Table.
WTXL ABC Sunrise Anchor Malcolm Hornsby spoke with Colli.
The event will offer free lunch and dynamic conversation on November 29 at noon on FSU's Landis Green.
"We often cross paths with those who are different from us, but we don't always have a chance to connect," the group said in promoting the event. "Join Power of We in this semesterly tradition of engaging across our differences over a shared meal, exchanging different ideas about our shared community."
The event is inspired by a nationally recognized model brought to life by the City of Tallahassee, the Village Square and Leon County.
