TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Sue Stelzmann from Tallahassee Clay Arts joined Second Cup on Wednesday to tell us about their 4th Annual Ceramic Studio Tour.
She told WTXL ABC 27 Sunrise Anchor Christine Souders about the free, self-guided tour featuring the studios of Tallahassee's best ceramic artists spread throughout the neighborhoods of Leon County.
The event will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The 2018 artist list includes more than 25 ceramists in 10 locations.
Each location will be well marked with signs to help guide you to the entrances. There is plenty of parking on the street. A printable map or Google map for you phone is available on the website: www.TallyClayArts.com.
Sue Stelzmann, the director of Tallahassee Clay Arts, says the appeal of the tour is you can meet artists in a relaxed setting where pottery is made.
Some of these locations are only open to the public during this event.
Each artist has made a special effort to display their work for you to browse through. You can find bowls, cups, sculpture, jewelry and decorative items.
These will be available for sale and make the perfect one-of-a-kind gift for special occasions.
