TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Tallahassee’s historic Capitol Museum stands as an icon at the center of Florida’s Capitol Complex. In 2 weeks, community members will have the chance to gather at the Capitol for a night of fellowship.
Picture the scene on March 30, 1978: Floridians who love the Historic Capitol ascend its steps in droves, supporting the campaign to save it from demolition.
The halls are filled with voices, refreshments, flowers, music and historic photographs show what has gone before.
These magic moments happened forty years ago.
It all kicks off on Thursday, March 29, at 5:30 PM.
This event is free and open to the public.
