TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Joining WTXL ABC's Christine Douders on Second Cup on Thursday, a member of the Tallahassee Junior Woman's Club talked about their annual Painting with a Purpose event.

Cherie Hall says the event will feature a little bit of paint and a whole lot of fun to help provide sneakers for underprivileged Leon County students.

The event will be July 15, 2018, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Painting with a Twist in the North Monroe Publix Plaza.

The cost: $35.

The Tallahassee Junior Woman's Club is civic organization that has been active in the Tallahassee area for more than 80 years.
