MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - Ian Mackenzie, organizer, and guitarist for Defy the Tyrant and Seckond Chaynce recording artist Trevor Thomas join visited Second Cup on Monday to tell us about the Ochlockonee River Music Festival.

They spoke with WTXL ABC Sunrise Anchor Christine Souders about the event, to be held Oct. 12 - 14, 2018.

The Festival is a three-day, multicultural artist festival with national and local acts from Seckond Chaynce, classic rock legend Blackfoot to Tallahassee Night's Live. Genres include country, rock, jazz blues, hip hop and R&B.

The Warrior on the River features two indoor stages and one outdoor stage, 14,000 square feet right on the Ochlockonee River.

Tallahassee Live Music Community Charity Group helps fund local music programs and supports the performing arts community through live shows, productions and performances.

The group also accept instruments to redistribute to programs in need.

The goal is to fill the idle hands of our youth with musical instruments in an effort to give them a safe place to help foster their talent and develop themselves as artists.
