MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - Jim English and Elyse Cornelison, both from Junior Achievement of the Big Bend, came to Second Cup on Monday to tell us about their upcoming Golf Tournament.
They spoke with WTXL ABC 27 Sunrise Anchor Malcolm Hornsby.
The JA golf event is a fun-filled afternoon of networking where companies can bring employees for team building or host clients and prospects.
They're supporting role models as they teach students in our community how money, careers and business ownership work with JA's proven programs.
The JA Big Bend Golf Classic will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 22, 2018, at the Southwood Golf Club.
Teams and sponsorships for these events are critical for Junior Achievement to continue providing life-changing programs to students in our community.
These programs are delivered at no cost to students. You can make a difference in the lives of these students by participating in this world-class event.
Proceeds from the event will help to ensure that Junior Achievement Big Bend has the funding to support grades K-12 programming in our local schools.
JA programs empower students to make a connection between what they learn in school and how it can be applied in the real world - enhancing the relevance of their classroom learning and increasing their understanding of the value of staying in school.
