TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - One local group is looking to help children and their families this holiday season.

The International Rescue Committee works to resettle and support refugee families in Tallahassee and around Florida. Since 2015, over 250 refugees have relocated to Tallahassee, including over 100 children, teens and young people.

Through an upcoming toy/supply drive, the committee is aiming to gather worthwhile items for those in need this holiday season.

The holiday drive runs Tuesday, December 5th – Thursday, December 14th, with a holiday party happening that evening at 6p.m. at Township, 619 S. Woodward Drive.
