TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida A&M University is hosting another community forum geared towards empowering students and residents.
Joining WTXL ABC's Sunrise Anchor Christine Souders on Second Cup on Thurday is attorney Cydnee Brown.
Florida A&M University will have four forums, which will take place every Thursday until August 2.
The forums will provide a place for citizens to make connections and learn about important social and political issues in their neighborhoods.
On Thursday, Carrie Pettus-Davis, with the FSU College of Social Work, will discuss re-entry as it applies to inmates and formerly incarcerated people in Tallahassee to help support their transition back into their community.
The event will be at FAMU's Perry Paige Auditorium, at 1740 South Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. at 6 p.m.
