MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - Chelse Collins and Nick Batina joined Second Cup to tell us about Celebration of the Arts.
They spoke with WTXL ABC 27 Sunrise Anchor Malcolm about the event to celebrate local designers, musicians, artist and entrepreneurs in the Panhandle.
Celebration Of The Arts is an eclectic collaboration of the best talent in the Panhandle.
On Sunday, January 27, 2019, from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m., area residents are encouraged to indulge in an evening of inspiration. It will be at Scratch House, 809 Railroad Ave., and cost $10 - $100.
Winner Circle Ent., Seduisant Fashion Consultants and C-Media Marketing & Productions will showcase some of the top local fashion designers, musicians and artist for an evening of creativity, ingenuity and self-expression.
Celebration Of The Arts kicks off with a fashion show, where nearly a dozen designers and boutiques will take the stage showcasing limited edition high-end fashion and ready-to -wear styles for the season.
Guests will also enjoy live music from classical and hip/hop violinist Nicholas Batina, a Florida State University instrumentalist who has been performing in spaces ranging from Longmire Recital Hall, Ruby Diamond Music Hall and local shops around downtown Tallahassee.
Attendees will also have the chance to watch a blank canvas evolve into a one-of-a kind masterpiece by live painter Matthew Miller, a Tallahassee based artist who specializes in capturing the spirit and energy of an event through a canvas.
The post show soiree will commemorate the one-year anniversary of Novus Racks, Tallahassee's first mobile boutique. The owners, Manzura Ishanova and Chelse Collins, will be honored for their creativity, sustainability and dedication to philanthropy through entrepreneurship.
