TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WXL) - The women of Tau theta Omega chapter of the Alapha Kappa Alpha Sorority are holding their Annual Western Dance, Denim and Pearl Round-Up.

Proceeds will benefit their community initiatives and scholarship programs in Gadsden County.

Two chapter representatives spoke with WTXL ABC 27 Sunrise Anchor Malcolm Hornsby on Wednesday.

They are LaTonya Rollinson, Chapter President, and Camry Floyd, Western Dance Chairperson.

Their event will be held Saturday, Dec. 29, from 9:08 p.m. - 1 a.m. at the National Guard Armory, 2049 Pat Thomas Highway, in Quincy.

Western attire is the dress.

Each ticket costs $25.
