TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Greg Cohen, owner of Lofty Pursuits, stopped by Sunrise to tell us about their upcoming event, A Very Lofty Christmas.

He spoke with WTXL ABC 27 Sunrise Anchor Christine Souders about Lofty Pursuits' free event.

It will be Saturday from 2 p.m. through 6 p.m. at 1355 Market St.

  • 2-5 Santa will be here to talk to kids and let you take free photos.
  • 2-6 Hand made candy cane making
  • 2-2:30 The Tallahassee Flute Choir
  • 3-3:30 The Lofty Marching Band
  • 4-4:45 A Tuba Christmas
  • 5-5:30 The Mountain Dew Cloggers

WTXL's other visitor Thursday morning stressed the deadline for signing up for Federal Emergency Management Agency assistance from Hurricane Michael. That day is Monday, December 10.

There is still a Disaster Recovery Center open in Leon County where people can go to, or they can register with FEMA on their website, over the phone, or on the app.
