TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Paying for college is a challenge for many students and an upcoming run is working to help relieve the financial burden for several students at Florida State University.
The Bowlegs 5K Run takes place on Saturday, January 10 at 9:00am in Innovation Park. Money raised by the run will provide scholarships for returning FSU students ages 30 and above who meet GPA criteria.
Dr. Annelise Leysieffer from the Faculty & Friends Club of FSU, joined us on Sunrise to talk about the run's 31 year history and the students it benefits.
