TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Technology can be a helpful tool in a parent's arsenal, and there are some new gadgets that can keep you and your kids jolly -- even after the holidays are over.
WTXL ABC 27 technology reporter Morgan Moore stopped by Verizon to check them out.
The holidays can be a stressful time for parents, so why not ask Santa for a device that can change to fit your busy lifestyle?
Something perhaps like the new Moto Z Force Droid and all its accessories. This smartphone features a long lasting battery - just 15 minutes on the charger will give you 15 hours of battery life.
And no worries if - and when - you drop it.
"It has a shatterproof display with the reinforced glass screen that will prevent against cracks and breaks," said Verizon Wireless GM Trevor Stuck.
But its most unique feature? The Moto Mods.
Theses add-ons snap to the back of your phone, and take it to a whole new level.
The Hasselblad True Zoom Camera Mod gives you 10 times more zoom and a flash that works well in low lighting.
Or you can show those videos off on the big screen with the Insta Share Projector. It plays your HD movies on any surface up to 70 inches, and even has an built-in battery that gives you a extra hour of watch time.
Now for parents who are worried their kids are using too much tech, Verizon's GizmoTab could be the gift that keeps on giving.
The educational tablet comes with 300 learning apps, and you can control when and how long kids can use it.
"It really allows you to take control and challenge your child as they grow with the device," said Stuck. "It's a really fun and interactive way for your children to get used to a technology device like this and to learn at the same time."
You can get the the GizmoTab for around $11 a month. The Moto Mods will put a bigger dent in your wallet, range in price from $80 to $300, depending on which ones you choose.
For a limited time, the Moto Z Force Droid along with several other phones are free with a smartphone trade-in.
