TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- You've already decorated your home for the holidays... so why not your nails?
Patricia Vernet, founder of Sage Mobile Spa, joined us on WTXL Sunrise to show to make the merriest of manicures.
You'll need:
- Blue, white & orange nail polish
- Black & white acrylic paint
- Toothpick or dotting tool
- End of a small paint brush or something similar
- Top coat
Here's Patricia's directions on how to achieve the snowman and snowflake look:
1). Polish all nails blue, except for one nail which will be polished white
2). On the white nail dip the end of your small paint brush in the black polish or paint to make two dots, creating the eyes of the snowman
3). On the same nail, dip your toothpick in the orange polish and create a triangle underneath the eyes to create the snowman's nose
4). Using the other tip of your toothpick, dip into the black polish or paint creating 5-6 dots underneath the nose to create the smile
5). On the blue nail, you will dip the back end of that paint brush into white polish creating a dot in anywhere on the nail (preferably in the center or lower right part of the nail)
6). Now dip your toothpick into that white polish/paint and create lines from the center of the dot. Then make V shapes along those straight lines creating the snowflake affect
7). Then, you will use the toothpick to place white dots all over that nail where there's still some blue left.
8). Lastly, top all nails off with top coat, let it dry and then you have your beautiful Christmas-themed nails.
