TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- We're getting back to the great outdoors with this Pinterest Party.

Marti Miller of Bear Creek Educational Forest joined us on WTXL Sunrise for a nature-inspired craft.

Instead of using Pine cones to feed animals, this time we made "animals" out of them.

Miller taught us how to use Pine cones to create owls and spiders.

The easy craft only takes Pine cones, some cotton balls, pipe cleaners, stick-on eyes, glue and your imagination! Click the thumbnails for some tips on getting yours looking good, and check out Max's creation!

Bear Creek Educational Forest takes over 492-acres in Lake Talquin State Forest. It's home to many different nature and environmental programs, plus other lessons, games and hands-on activities for students.

Miller say this type of craft is one of the many things kids and field trips get to do at Bear Creek.

Remember you can catch Pinterest Party every Wednesday morning on WTXL Sunrise. Also check us out on Pinterest for even more inspiration!
