TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Working with ceramics, specifically glazing them, can be a fun activity for not only kids but adults as well. It just takes a little bit of know-how.
This morning on Pinterest Party, we were joined by Nicole Nickel, one of the owners of Firefly Pottery to teach us how to glaze some fun cups that do double-duty and hold your cookies for you as well.
Nickel told us all about the glazing process from how every item needs three coats of glaze to the fact that the pottery is heated to 1,835 degrees. Once the pottery has been heated, it becomes shiny and safe to eat and drink off of.
