TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Meet our Pet of the Week, Lady!
Lady came to the shelter as an owner surrender in April. Since then, she's made friends with other dogs and anyone who visits!
Although she's 10, Lady still has some energy. She loves to play with other dogs, and go for walks. She's also very gentle on a leash.
Lady is also very healthy and heartworm negative.
Grayson Walters from Tallahassee Animal Services also talked about the importance of fostering animals. You just fill out an application, and can eventually foster animals for a couple of days or even a few weeks - whatever is best for your schedule.
